237

You'd think that seeing the same three digit number randomly would be slim... but Sam seems to notice "237" everywhere. all the time. randomly.

So I asked Sam to start taking pictures of it-- after a short period of time, this is what he came up with:

Life Lately: According to my Phone

^^I finally finished a wreath!! I finished making this at the beginning of the summer but I got the supplies for it with Cami about a year ago. Haha. Now, it is in the perfect shape of an egg-- I think it will become my Easter wreath ^^

^^This home-made pizza (chicken, tomato, artichoke) turned out delicious! It's one of Sam's favorites ^^

For one of our date nights this summer we went to Mimi's Cafe. Sam had never been. We split a bread dipped and fried artichoke type thing for a few dollars and got yummy french bread and carrot & raisins bread-cake for free. Not such a bad deal :D

The UAC asked me to be apart of the video that they are making for accessibility awareness week and their website. It was a great experience. I'll post a link to the video when it's done.

They also came over to our house for a couple hours and filmed Sam and I doing normal "life things" for the cut-out shots.

The UAC also asked me to be the moderator during the discussion panel during AAW-- I think they love and appreciate me-- I am graduated but they still love the person that I am and how I represent the UAC. I have had a GREAT experience working with the UAC during my time at BYU and I am so glad that is something that I still get to do.

^^ The interviewer and the camera-guy^^

^^I tried out this new recipe: Southwestern Chicken Salad. And it was DELICIOUS^^

^^ Sam and I went on a date to Trafalga (Thank you Pass of all Passes for making it free) ^^

^^ I surprised Sam with a dinner date up the canyon ^^

^^Oh how we LOVE tin foil dinners^^

^^ Finally made Sam some homemade bread that he had been asking for. Yum!! ^^

^^ This nice man came to our door asking if we wanted to buy his last Tomales of the day. These mexican foods bring Sam right back to his mission and he gets so excited. We also wanted to be just like the Spencers ;) ...and support this family's small business ^^

We love going on bike rides.

^^Chelsea's reception was at This is the Place Monument -- we got a tour via the "Love Train". It was really cool! Sam had never been--I love doing new things with him.^^

^^ Every time our car gets dirty and needs to be cleaned, Sam's first thought is going to a car wash fundraiser. It took several months, but on Saturday we finally came across one!! Sam was so excited!^^

My 22nd Birthday!!

Sam spoiled me on my Birthday! I feel his love so much.

Shortly after we woke up we went to WaffleLove!! We have both been wanting to go their for LONG time-- so we finally did!! :D

Then, we went on a bike ride.

And for lunch we biked over to the El Salvador Restaurant on Center Street and had Pupusas. They were delicious!!

After lunch, we went shopping for some things for our new apartment. {P.S. We moved}.

When we got home we had some delicious Creamies and got ready to go to Seven Peaks!! :D

It was a magical day! Thanks for treating me like a Queen! :D

I LOVE you Sam!!

The Manti Temple

I just wanted to bear you a brief part of my testimony about Temples.

I know that they are the house of the Lord. I find so much peace and solace as I enter these doors to pray and ponder. Life is hard and visiting the temples makes it easier to have the courage to be strong through this life.

I know this church is true.

My First Concert!!

Sam got us cheap tickets to "Stars and Planets Align." It was an outdoor concert at Thanksgiving Point with William Joseph and the Lyceum Philharmonic Orchestra and guest star Lexi Walker. We both really like William Joseph's music AND Lexi Walker, so we had much fun!
^^I started taking pictures of Sam because he just looks so HANDSOME!!^^
^^He caught me^^
^^I don't know why I love this funny-face so much!!^^
We both left this concert in AWE. It was AMAZING!!

We even got to hear Lexi Walker sing Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid. William Joseph put her on the spot to sing something else since she only had one other song on the program. He goes, "Now Lexi, we can't let you go just yet...," then he speaks to the crowd, "I mean, we've got Lexi Walker up here!" He starts playing the beginning of Part of Your World, but Lexi wanted him to play it in a different key. So, she ends up putting him on the spot instead! But seriously, he's William Joseph. He accompanied just fine. And Lexi sounded so good!
We caught this one with William Joseph during Intermission. While he was signing our program, he accidentally left his set list with us. We started waling away and his escort had to ask us for the set list back. Good thing we didn't take it with us! He would've been lost without that!

New Full-Time Job!!

I got a full-time job at LDS Philanthropies!!

Working FT has its ups and downs.
Confession: around the time of graduation I wondered how long I will be working--as if it was this chore that I had to do to "fill in the time." Don't get me wrong, I like the work that I do but to be honest, I would have liked to be in a different position in life. But then one day at work I took on a more sacred perspective. This day was when I realized how I was building the kingdom of God. How He was trusting me to do His work. As my perspective changed I realized that the position that I am in-- I can deal with-- it will help me grow and develop. It's not just a filler. I am doing good, and sacred work. I know this is where He wants me to be right now.

^^Isn't my work awesome?!?^^

Oh Babies

^^ Sam thinking that outfit is adorable^^

No matter how hard I try, I can't walk by the baby section without stopping... Sam still tries to stop me.

During this particular stop I took an outfit off the rack and held it to the ground and said: "Daddy" as I moved it towards Sam. It was a priceless moment watching Sam's reaction. My heart melted for the day when his child calls out his name.

 ^^When Sam saw a cute little jacket^^

^^And he wanted to take it with him! I laughed so hard!^^

Sam is the most tender-hearted man I know! He is going to be a wonderful father someday.
